Ever thought of surfing in a shopping mall? Now you can with the flowriding and surfing simulator venue in 1 Utama Shopping Centre. FlowRider® 1 Utama is a hybrid boardsport combining the techniques of surfing, snowboarding, skateboarding, wakeboarding and skimboarding.

Whether a beginner or an expert, one can catch a perpetual wave with the guidance of our professional instructor. Waves are flawlessly created by endless sheets of water flowing at a 32 km/h over a composite vinyl surface. Submersible propeller pumps located in the pool below inject a 3-inch sheet of water creating a surfable wave. The resulting wave-like shape lets riders surf up and down, perform tricks and spins.

FlowRider® 1 Utama is suitable for all types of events and functions, it is perfect for birthday parties, corporate/ group team building, school co-curriculum activities and more. We also provide a wide range of lessons and courses from beginner to advance level with our dedicated coaches to improve your FlowRiding technique. With FlowRider growing popularity around the globe, our venue is also host to various FlowRiding competition such as FLOW Tour where one can witness the best of FlowRider athletes competing and exhibiting their skills and stunts.

It is Kids Friendly

FlowRider® 1 Utama combines the “cool” factor with reliability and safety – in other words, a whole lot of fun! It’s hands down the most popular stationary surfing machine in town. Kids to adults are welcome to surf with the minimum height of 107cm and general good health. The most basic regular ride (1 hour session) starting from RM 40. Experience FlowRider® yourself now!
